"Possible to import resource from a jar?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-11-13 12:18:30

Can't really find anything in the document..... I have two spring projects one is model layer and the other one is web layer. I put the model layer project into a jar file and import it to the web layer project so I can use it. My question is that how do I import the application context or the bean definations from the jar file?I'm currently doing a import statement in my web layer project's applicationContext xml.<import resource="com/project/model/applicationContext-dao xml" />but everytime I complile it said that this file does not exist. I checked the jar file and the applicationContext-dao xml is really not there what is the correct way of doing this?do I need to redefine all the beans for the model layer again in the web layer project? I'm giong to do more reading... please advice if anybody know this.... thanx so much ah... figure it out!i'm using maven to do the packaging... and i have to tell maven to build the jar with the xml files..... i'm so retarded yes and make sure they are loaded by the classloader onto the classpath. They are listed in your manifest? Powered by vBulletin® Version 3.7.3Copyright ©2000 - 2008. Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.

"Sun Jar" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-01-01 21:14:52

Collecting sunshine sounds like something a Bond villain might do on his day off but it's actually something the charming little Sun Jar does every day. That's because this traditional-looking frosted glass container houses a solar cell battery and LED lights. The idea is to leave the Sun Jar near a window or under some decent artificial light so that it can collect energy throughout the day. Then when darkness falls it provides a warm ambient glow. Clever eh? This ingenious marriage of modern technology and good old-fashioned styling has been created by hot avant-garde designer Tobi Wong and we reckon it's a classic in the making. After all up-to-the-minute styling is fine and dandy but sometimes it's nice to look at something that doesn't be like it's fallen off the approve of the Starship Enterprise. Besides messing around with jars and candles is a real rigmarole. Ideal for tightwads who hate forking out on batteries/electricity bills and (sun) spot-on for the ecologists amongst you the Sun Jar has countless uses around the domiciliate. And because it lacks the dazzling gleam of an electric light it's perfect as a gentle bedside lamp or a mood lighten at parties. telecommunicate: 1bitsandpieces@gmail com

We reached the point in the season where populate myself included are getting tired and short tempered with populate. To contend this. Laura and I decided to create a "snarky jar" in our office:If someone comes into the office and complains or makes a snarky mention then they undergo to pony up some money to put in the jar. The rules are the same for Laura. Rich. Leslie and I. The general going rate is $0.25/snarky comment or $1 for a particularly good mouth. I've already contributed almost $5. At the end of the season we're going to act the contents of the jar and interact ourselves at the bar. And to defend the snarky jar from any thieves we've got a follow:
