"Flash SWF Decompiling" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-11-13 12:26:34 |
Choose which country's videos channels and activity filters (for example. "Most Viewed") you would like to view.
Choose the language in which you want to view YouTube. This will only change the interface not any text entered by other users.
Hello you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. .
Change this to see only comments above a certain value. Change the value of a comment by clicking on a thumb.
With Firefox you can go to >>File >Save Page As.. when you are at the swf URL. You can also go to >>Tools >Page Info and click on the Media tab. Then look for an object that is a swf right click and save as.
it was very practical this is also the thing that i did when i want to get swf from sites thanks for sharing this to everyone.
i have a program called flashget and it lets me just right click and i can download everything on the web page i chose to download...
There are around 3 different add-ons that will let you download swf files to your computer.
For someone who has a few tricks up their sleeve and just learning the beauty of decompiling sure would have been thoughtful to include sound with this video explaining to those who want to learn exactly what to do rather than having to watch too closely at a low res vid. But good work at least I could follow.

Hello. Is there a way to decompile kernel extensions approve to their original source code? Just thought I'd ask. Thanks.
No. They're just desire any other binary program you can disassemble them but that's about it.
Assembly code is fairly useless to you so no point. Which extension? Most are already open sourced.

"jpeg image decompiling" posted by ~Ray

I have found a bring together of sites that accept a visitor to upload an imageand the site returns either the "average alter" or a palette of colors. Several of them use PHP to complete this. I undergo requested the sourcecode but have not gotten a response (even though one place states"obtain code available on request"). It is obvious that they read thecolors of each pixel and them manipulate that data. I would desire to beable to do something similar. I'm not very familiar with the PHP image functions but undergo been ableto figure out how to construe pixel color on indexed alter images but noton jpegs. The beat I can do now is convert a jpeg to a 256 indexedcolor image and then read pixel color. Unfortunately too much of theoriginal data gets lost. Does anyone know how to cause the alter of jpeg pixels or can youpoint me to a good tutorial on PHP visualise functions. For what it's worth one of the things I want to do is cause thedistribution of each alter (i e. 345 pixels of rgb1. 2436 pixels ofrgb2 etc.) and possibly act upon the image by removing and/orreplacing any given alter.

Thanks. Rik. I played with imagecolorat() before but it didn't seem to bring home the bacon with anon indexed alter visualise (i e it worked with a gif but not a jpeg). Reading the spec seemed to affirm that the function returns the colorindex (not the color) which can then be construe for rgb values. I wasable to convert the jpeg to an indexed visualise then use imagecolorat(),but it meant reducing the original to 256 colors first. I ordain try again using your snippet and let you know.

further digging says on PHP with GD >= 2.0 imagecolorat() should returnrgb on truecolor images. I be to do some more digging and testing.

"[News and Links] Re: DEcompiling java applet?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 11:53:02 |
Guys anyone of you here had done a web pentest where you actually decompile java applets? I am not so sure if that is the change by reversal term to label it. From my understanding unless a categorise file can be open you can use a tool like jad to decompile change by reversal me if i am do by?[]
Hey Gareth thanks for that back up. But do you know how to decompile them during a web pentest? If i am not do by there must be certain vulnerabilities in that java applications before you are able to grab the applets and decompile them right? change by reversal me if i am do by? Or maybe tell me how did you did it in the past?convey you.[]
Ah ok well in request to decompile you need the class register or jar file. A jar file is just a zip register renamed to jar. So if you rename the jar file to zip you should be able to reconstruct it and extract the categorise files. Once the class files are extracted you should be able to decompile them using any java decompiler. The HTML applet tag should cerebrate to the jar or categorise register if the applet is used on a web summon that you can find then you should be able to get the jar or class register and decompile. Edited 3 time(s). Last alter at 08/16/2007 08:37AM by Gareth Heyes.
Java decompiling has proven useful in several applications I've seen. One such schedule that comes to object is a Visual Basic application that connected remotely to one of those be webcam websites and was able to be adrift and record pay-per-view services for free. If I remember correctly it was created with the assistance of the DJ Decompiler. Awesome AnDrEw - The Earth Will move. The World ordain Shiver[]
Well technically yes but you don't actually have to run the applet to decompile it for example if they don't serve the applet but have the jar or categorise files located on the server then it would comfort be possible to decompile it. If you can download the files...
I don't see where the affect is... (or may be I am thinking on other direction. Correct me in that inspect :) )Let's take the case of the following page: []A quick be at the obtain code reveals that the jar file is at: []Download it remove the files and decompile them. I like for it's simplicity. I liked Hacking Exposed: J2EE & Java. Recently bought "Java Security"-O'Reilly.. looks good; yet to undergo a more deeper be at both though :(Let me know if I can be of any more help.---I'd love to change the world, but they won't gimme the source label.
hey Om your post is what i meant. So if there is no jar or categorise file during enumeration you cannot use any compiler to decompile any java register change by reversal me if i m wrong?I am going to get the oreilly java security schedule today. Thanks man[]
jar:somesite com/foo jar!/bar htmlwhere bar is a html register in the jar normally you can link through Javascript. Firefox recognizes the jar and sees it as an signed archive:<compose archive="foo jar"># proccess script here.</script>
But. I'm very clueless what you mean by all this or what you want to do with it since I never used it.
hackathology Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> hey Om your affix is what i meant. So if there is> no jar or categorise file during enumeration you> cannot use any compiler to decompile any java> file correct me if i m do by?If there's a java applet there has to be a categorise or jar file. The method described above ordain work fine unless the jar files are kept outside the web channelise of cover. BTW the class/jar files are downloaded from the server to the local system. I am however unable to find them. Further. If the applet is signed using jarsigner then we might not be able to re-create invokation by our own applet. For advance insight on jarsigner: []> > I am going to get the oreilly java security book> today. Thanks manThat'd be great. Then we can address things once in a while... (indirect way of saying. Guys anyone of you here had done a web pentest where you actually decompile java applets? I am not so sure if that is the change by reversal call to call it. From my understanding unless a class register can be open you can use a tool like jad to decompile correct me if i am wrong?[]
Hey Gareth thanks for that help. But do you know how to decompile them during a web pentest? If i am not do by there must be certain vulnerabilities in that java applications before you are able to grab the applets and decompile them right? change by reversal me if i am wrong? Or maybe tell me how did you did it in the past?Thank you.[]
Ah ok well in request to decompile you need the class register or jar register. A jar file is just a zip file renamed to jar. So if you rename the jar file to zip you should be able to decompress it and extract the class files. Once the class files are extracted you should be able to decompile them using any java decompiler. The HTML applet tag should link to the jar or class register if the applet is used on a web page that you can access then you should be able to get the jar or class file and decompile. Java decompiling has proven useful in several applications I've seen. Well technically yes but you don't actually have to run the applet to decompile it for example if they don't answer the applet but undergo the jar or class files located on the server then it would still be possible to decompile it. If you can download the files...
I don't see where the trouble is... (or may be I am thinking on other direction.
